Collaboration

Abusive IP range detected

For free accounts, commenting and sharing functionalities may occasionally be restricted if originating from a recognized bot network or abusive IP range. This precautionary measure aims to safeguard against spam and malicious activities. However, paid users enjoy unhindered access without undergoing these checks

Collaboration

To utilise our collaboration feature: 1. Right-click the folder/file you wish to share. 2. Click on "Sharing Options". 3. Input the recipient's email address and set the access level of the folder. 4. If you change the access level to "Editor", the recipient will have the ability to collaborate and upload files to the shared folder. Please note that the recipient needs an Icedrive account to collaborate.

Restricted from sharing

There are several factors that could prevent you from sharing a file or folder: 1. New free users are subject to a 48-hour restriction on public sharing as a security measure against spam and abuse. 2. The item might be flagged by our system for violating our Terms of Service or DMCA policies. If this occurs, please contact our support team via a support ticket for further investigation and resolution. 3. Continued sharing of restricted items may lead to your account being blacklisted, preventing further sharing privileges. If you believe your account has been blacklisted unfairly, reach out to our support team for a review and potential removal from the blacklist. 4. If your IP address is detected as being part of an abusive range, sharing capabilities may be restricted. Refer to our dedicated article on this topic for more information. For assistance with any sharing issues, feel free to contact our support team for personalised help and resolution.
